Wade L. Fischer joined the firm in June of 2007. Wade’s focus is primarily on family law, criminal law, and litigation in general.

Wade is a 1999 graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Law. While in law school, Wade served as an intern for Tieszen Law Office during the summers of 1997 and 1998.

Upon passing the Bar Examination, Wade became associated with Carlson Law Office where he practiced until 2001. In 2001, Wade joined the South Dakota Division of Insurance where he served as a staff attorney. In March of 2002, Wade began working for JS Midwest Structured Settlements where he assisted trial lawyers in utilizing structured settlements while negotiating civil cases. Wade is insurance licensed in nine states and is now the owner of JS Midwest Structured Settlements. In December 2005, Wade opened Fischer Law Firm where he practiced until June 2007 when he joined Tieszen Law Office.

Wade is admitted to the South Dakota Supreme Court, United States Federal District Court, District of South Dakota and United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.

In July 2007, Wade completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s South Dakota Trial Academy at the South Dakota School of Law.
